Departure on your way to Israel, The Land of the Bible
welcome to Israel, upon arrival into Ben Gurion International Airport, you will be met and assisted by our airport representative. We head to the hotel in the Galilee to enjoy refreshments and rest.
We have breakfast at the hotel visit Nazareth; this is where Jesus spent his childhood with Mary and Joseph. We will visit the Church of the Annunciation, where the angel Gabriel appeared to Mary. We will then continue to the town of Cana, where Jesus transformed water into wine (John 2: 1). We can appreciate Tel Megiddo (Armageddon). Megiddo was strategically located on the main trade routes between Babylon and Egypt. Here, King Solomon built a gigantic fortress and city. (Judges 1:27, 5:19, I King 4:12, 9:15: II Chronicles 35:22: Zechariah 12:12, Revelations 16:16). We will visit the famous Monastery of Muhraqa the place of the sacrifice of Elijah the Prophet. (I Kgs. 18) (I Kgs. 18, 40). Continue to Mount Carmel. We return to the hotel for dinner and rest.
We have breakfast at the hotel and we head to Capernaum and visit the study house, place of Jesus’ Galilean Ministry. We follow then to the residence of Saint Peter and visit a third century church adjacent to the house, and then we walk where Jesus began his ministry in Tabgha. We continue to the Church of Multiplication with its ancient mosaics of the fourth century. We head then to the Mount of Beatitudes where Jesus preached the “Sermon on the Mount.” We will continue in the direction of Yardenit, place of the baptism where we will have the opportunity to participate in the ceremony of immersion in the sacred waters of the Jordan River. Later we will walk along the coast of Kineret and take a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee. We returned to the hotel for dinner and rest.

We have breakfast at the hotel. We begin our visit in the ancient city of Beit Shean National Park. Continue to the caves of Qumran, where a pastor found the parchments known as Dead Sea Scrolls. We will visit the 1500 feet mountaintop fortress of Masada famous for being the last stronghold of the Jewish rebellion against the Romans. We will ascend to Masada by cable car and discover the first century Synagogue, King Herod’s Bathhouse and other sites atop of Masada. From there we will move to the Dead Sea. We will have the opportunity to have bathe in its mineral-rich waters and have the experience of floating without sinking. We will take our bus and head north to Jerusalem to the hotel in Jerusalem for dinner and rest.
We have breakfast at the hotel. We begin our visit on the Mount of Olives, the Jewish cemetery and the observation point. We will walk to Gethsemane (The agony in the garden), where Jesus preached on several occasions, and where the Romans arrested him. Continue through the Kidron valley passing through the tombs of Absalom, Zechariah, and King Jehoshaphat. We continue to Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus, visiting the tomb of Rachel. We will proceed to the Church of the Nativity where Jesus was born; this is the oldest church on earth. We returned to the hotel for dinner and rest.
We have breakfast at the hotel. We started with a visit to the City of David. We will continue our journey through the old city, we will walk along the Via Dolorosa, the path that Jesus walked before his crucifixion, and then we will enter the colorful market and bazaar. We will visit the Western Wall time for pray . We will walk the Stations of the Cross- the Via Dolorosa including Station 2 Judgment Hall of Pilate, located at the Church of the Flagellation and Church of the Condemnation and Imposition of the Cross, all the way to the final Station 14 inside Church of the Holy Sepulcher. In the afternoon, we return to the hotel for dinner and rest.
We have breakfast at the hotel. We begin the day going to Mount Zion, visit the Upper room Lord’s Supper, visit King David Tomb, and walk through the Jewish Quarter. Drive through the New City and pass the Knesset (Israel Parliament) and continue to Ein Karem, the birthplace of John the Baptist, the one to announce the coming of the Lord. Visit the Church of the Visitation which commemorates the visit made by Mary the mother of Jesus’, to Elizabeth, the mother of John the Baptist .In the afternoon, we return to the hotel for dinner and rest.
We have breakfast at the hotel. We visited the Israel Museum, the Monument to the Book – where are the scrolls that were found in Qumran. We also see the model of the Temple of Jerusalem in a giant model. We will continue to the Garden Tomb, the place where according to the Protestant faith, Jesus was crucified and the place of the Resurrection. We returned to the hotel to enjoy the farewell dinner and lodging.
We have breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Ben Gurion International Airport in Tel Aviv.
