Extension Tour from Israel Four Days in Egypt

Day 1

We depart from the Taba border. After border crossing procedures, we meet the Egyptian tour guide and enter the country. Immediately after customs clearance, we depart for Cairo in fully air-conditioned vehicles. We drive through majestic desert landscapes as we make our way towards Egypt’s capital city. We stop along the way for refreshments and complete the final leg of this portion of the journey. We arrive at our hotel in Cairo for dinner and rest.

Day 2

We have breakfast at the hotel. We spend the day sightseeing and enjoying a guided tour. We visit Memphis, the site believed to be the ancient capital of Egypt. We then proceed to Sakkara, site of the famous step pyramid. The next stop is the Great Pyramids of Giza, and then on to the Valley Temple of King Khephren and the Sphinx. We return to the hotel for dinner and rest.

Day 3

We have breakfast at the hotel. We begin with a visit to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities – the most comprehensive collection of Pharaonic art in the world, then on to the Citadel of Saladin and the Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali, Cairo’s signature tourist attraction. We will drive to old Cairo and visit the Ben Ezra Synagogue, the Virgin Church “El Moallakah”, Saint Serge Church, and then proceed via the City of the Dead, and on to “Khan El Khalili” bazaar. We return to the hotel for dinner and rest.

Day 4

We have breakfast at the hotel. Departure from Cairo to Israel – stop on the way for refreshments – proceed to Taba – arrival at the Taba Border – we will be greeted and assisted through passport control and the customs authorities by our local representatives at the Taba border (at both the Egyptian and the Israeli border stations).
